Vertebrae of the Month – Mid Thoracic Spine

T4, T5, T6, and T7 make up what is known as the Mid Thoracic Spine and are also known as the ‘mid-back’ vertebrae. The nerves at these levels of the spine travel to organs such as the gallbladder, liver, stomach, pancreas, spleen, and a few more. The functions of these nerves are for digestion, detox, and immunity.

The Thoracic Spine is highlighted above in red (T1-T12).

When you have subluxation at these levels of your spine, you can experience conditions such as jaundice, fever, indigestion, heartburn, stomach pains, ulcers, blood sugar problems, immune deficiency, and more.
